It is freezing cold in Kyoto nowadays.
It is the seasone of KOUYOU which means colored leaves!
We can enjoy pretty KOUYOU everywhere in Kyoto.

Today we went to Fushimi inari.
There were not so many KOUYOU going on, but we caught the beautiful sun set.
I wanna go there again when the weather is good.

Today I made Apple Ginger dressing.
It is OIL FREE!
So you might want to add some Avocado, nuts or seeds in you salad.
I put some avocado and pumpkin seeds in my salad.
It was amazing…….

Recipe here

About 1 and 1/2 Cups of dreesing

2 Apples
1 size of your thumb of Ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 and 1/2 Tbsp Tahini
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp soy souce
1 Tbsp Maple syrup

Peel the apple skins and remove the seeds. Blend all ingredients in the high speed blender.

If you like heavier dressing, you might wanna add some 2 Tbsp of Olive oil.
Eat them in 2 days, but I’m sure it will be gone just in 2 meals because it is delicious!

Enjoy!

This is colored leaves in Nanzen ji. LOVELY!!

Most people throw the papaya seeds away, but even small amounts of them in your diet can be surprisingly good for you.

They taste like mustard or pepper, it means good for your daily dressings.

Also papaya leaves have papain which is a cysteine protease enzyme. It helps your digestion.  But the papain is 10 times more plenty in the green papaya than riped papaya.

Have some papaya seed dressing salad in summer time and get healthy!
