Today’s smoothie is fruits smoothie which is Strawberry Apple Chia Smoothie!

I put a dream catcher on the tree. and it was still be happy to be there.


My one of wonderful friend got married! and they ask me to make Wedding Raw Cake for them!

so I made the first Wedding Raw cake!

Basic Smoothie for your guests! apple and orange

Hi! The fall is here already.

The fall is my favorite season! yay!

this long weekend  I had some guests.

They stayed in our house, so I made some energy smoothie for their breakfast.

The basic smoothie

1 apple

2 orange

2 banana

3C  green leaves

1C spinach

1C water

mix with blender.

They enjoy very much.

try in your house as well! 🙂

Tanabata ☆ Carrot Juice

hey guys!

how are you doing? It is a beautiful Sunday morning!

I woke up 5am to participate cleaning up event with kids.

so many trash!! like candy paper or cigarette…


after coming back to home, I made delicious refreshing carrot juice with new juicer!!

1 apple

1 carrot

1 thumb of ginger

little bit cinnamon powder

cut them as  sticks

put into juicer!

you can use pulp for Raw cracker, taco shell or cookies!

love from nature.

I drunk them slowly and feeling my body inside.

all cells are happy to get all enzyme and nutrition from this amazing juice.

when you get juicer, make sure you get slow speed juicer.

it keeps food enzyme and nutrition.

Work groups at Technische Universität München (TUM) under Prof. Peter Schieberle and at the University of Vienna under Prof. Veronika Somoza studied four different edible fats and oils: Lard, butterfat, rapeseed oil and olive oil. Over a period of three months, the study participants ate 500 grams of low-fat yoghurt enriched with one of the four fats or oils every day — as a supplement to their normal diet.

“Olive oil had the biggest satiety effect,” reports Prof. Peter Schieberle, Head of the TUM Chair of Food Chemistry and Director of the German Research Center for Food Chemistry. “The olive oil group showed a higher concentration of the satiety hormone serotonin in their blood. Subjectively speaking, these participants also reported that they found the olive oil yoghurt very filling.” During the study period, no member of this group recorded an increase in their body fat percentage or their weight.

How long the feeling of satiety lasts after eating depends on a number of factors, but blood sugar level is particularly significant. The faster it falls, that is to say, the faster the somatic cells absorb glucose from the blood, the sooner the person will start to feel hungry again. In the next part of their study, the researchers investigated which of the aroma substances present in the oil are most effective at inhibiting glucose absorption.

The researchers used olive oils from Spain, Greece, Italy and Australia for their study. The research team managed to identify two substances that reduce the absorption of glucose from the blood in liver cells: Hexanal and E2-Hexenal. They also discovered that Italian olive oil contained larger amounts of the two aroma compounds.


is it awesome?

I didn’t know that. I always avoid any oil.  I was taking fat from nuts, seeds or avocados.

But it doesn’t matter any more! we can eat good quality olive oil!

So I will look around high quality olive oil. any suggestion?

Here is the recipe that Raw curry with olive oil for dinner!

Raw curry

1 small zucchini

1/2 apple

1/2 tomato

2 stick celery

1tsp tameric

1tsp coriander

1tsp lemon juice

1tsp maple syrup

1/4C dried coconuts

1/5C raisin

1/2C water

pinch of salt

for the topping 1tsp of olive oil.

So from today, I am going to start Morning smoothie detox for 4 weeks.

Spring is here. Picnic!!

Spring has been arrived in Japan! But today is raining and cold…

But yesterday was fantastic day! I couldn’t wait to go out to have picnic! so we did!

I made simple lunch and had happy time under the beautiful Sun shine!

The lunch was Aya special Salad, Guacamole and home made hole wheat Bread!

We had HAPPY time with these simple but beautiful foods!

In our lives, good foods and beautiful nature are very important.

I am so grateful that I live in this wonderful place, eat great vegetables and fruits everyday.

This morning, I made cute smoothie!

When I woke up, it was so cold that I couldn’t get out of my bed… so I decided to put Ginger in my smoothie.

Ginger makes you warm from inside of your body.

Carrot, Apples and Ginger smoothie!

Research suggests that apples may reduce the risk of colon cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. Apple peels contain ursolic acid which, in rat studies, increases skeletal muscle and brown fat, and decreases white fat, obesity, glucose intolerance, and fatty liver disease. ( from Wiki)

Let’s eat an apple everyday!

Put fruits first into the blender.

I don’t peel the skins. (Wash the skin carefully) because there are a lot of nutrients in the skin and between skin and fresh.

If there is wax on the skin you may peel the skin, though…

I put too much ginger… It was very hot. you may put half of it!

But it made me very warm.


Last night was my beautiful friend V’s birthday party!

She is Vegan and loves animal! She takes me Vegan restaurant in Kyoto.

She is always happy and shining! So I made Shining Raw Fruits cake for her.

I hope she enjoyed it!

It is freezing cold in Kyoto nowadays.
It is the seasone of KOUYOU which means colored leaves!
We can enjoy pretty KOUYOU everywhere in Kyoto.

Today we went to Fushimi inari.
There were not so many KOUYOU going on, but we caught the beautiful sun set.
I wanna go there again when the weather is good.

Today I made Apple Ginger dressing.
So you might want to add some Avocado, nuts or seeds in you salad.
I put some avocado and pumpkin seeds in my salad.
It was amazing…….

Recipe here

About 1 and 1/2 Cups of dreesing

2 Apples
1 size of your thumb of Ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 and 1/2 Tbsp Tahini
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp soy souce
1 Tbsp Maple syrup

Peel the apple skins and remove the seeds. Blend all ingredients in the high speed blender.

If you like heavier dressing, you might wanna add some 2 Tbsp of Olive oil.
Eat them in 2 days, but I’m sure it will be gone just in 2 meals because it is delicious!
